My confessions never end!

I-ConfessPs 32:1-6

As I read this I was thinking to myself, when do the confessions end? My answer, never! Every Since I became a Christian I have been asking God to forgive my sins. I started out being very specific, but as time when on, I was like, God could you just forgive me for ALL the stupid stuff I’ve done? Well I’m begging to think it doesn’t quite work that way. It seems that I have many transgressions in my life that need to be openly confessed to the Lord, and when I remember one and ask for forgiveness another takes it’s place. I’m not saying I was or am this horrible person, but if we stop and think about some of the things we say and do in our lives, we might find that that list of transgressions is pretty long..

A Psalm of David. A Maskil. How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered! 2 How blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit! 3 When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away Through my groaning all day long. 4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer. Selah. 5 I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I did not hide; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD”; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah. 6 Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.
